FOr the last month or so, PSE 4.0 on my computer has begun starting and restarting on its own. I won’t be working on anything related to photos and suddenly it starts and comes to the front. If I minimize it, it continues to take the active screen every 5 minutes or so, and if I shut it off, it comes back after a time. Doesn’t seem to have a regular interval, but I may be missing something.
So far, I’ve checked active processes and shut off anything that is related to adobe; checked msconfig to make sure nothing related to adobe is starting up with the computer or running any services.
Anyone have any experience with this? I’ve search the web using every combination of terms I can think of, but to no avail.
My next step would be to uninstall, but since I just moved, I don’t know which box the software is in.
Please help.
