Here’s my issue, every time I open PS CS2, it looks for updates. My connection is bogged down throughout the day, so I get a bunch of flashing and freezing and generally annoying behaviors because it is having issue with the slower connection. I don’t leave PS running constantly as I need to make a little room for other programs. I turned off VC. I unchecked the check boxes under Help > Updates… in PS.
Nothing, it keeps checking every time I open the program.
Is there any way to kill it dead, or is this a built in "Feature" of the program that I have no control over?
