Color Styles…Coming out Black & White???

Hi all,

Im using Photoshop Elements 2
When I go to apply my layer styles, their all coming
out black & while, not the color of the styles.

What am I doing wrong?

Go to toolbar>image>mode. Check ‘RGB’

OMG geezzz i changed that when I made my pictures
to grayscale.

Jodi thank you so much for responding. I lost a whole
night of playing ust because I couldnt get the colors
to come out LOL

No tellin when I would have figured it out ;o/
