Hi Everyone,
Hope I can explain this so it makes sense.
I am writing a full page ad for a magazine. All the print is in black and white.(nothing in color except the picture) When I copy and paste the color picture on to the page it shows up in black and white. How do I make it show up in color? I am using PSE 2 in XP Home.
I know this must be simple.
Thanks,
Jeane

I suspect what is happening is that you are working in Grayscale and when you introduce a colour to it gets converted to gray scale When you are ready to add the colour got to Image > Mode > RGB Color once clicked it will work as you intend it to.

No problem the ball game is over and there is only Elements left to live for. 😉

I’m so sorry for Chuck, an Yankee fan for all his life.

Chuck, always look at the bright side of life, although sometimes the world seems to be unfair; especially when you spend $185.000.000 a year and a $55.000.000 team is the winner.
The real world is just like Photoshop; some people can do miracles with Elements and others screw their images with Creative Suite. 😉
