Hello guys,

Bit new to photoshops more advanced features. i can do basic editing as thats only what i’ve ever needed to do. watched the little clip on the adobe site about the features (really wanted to try out the 3d stuff) anyway, i started at the first thing which was using the refine edges tool.

found the tool, set everything how i wanted it, but when i click ok, it doesn’t apply the change to the image! 🙁
Have i been an obvious noob and forgotten to do something, or should it just work??

if it should just work, any suggestions on how to get it to work??

Thanks guys

hope you can help

Jack

Hi Jack,
The "Refine Edges" only affects the selection edges and not the image itself. Some minor changes may not be visible after applying. For example, if you slightly "feathered" (softened) the selection edges the "marching ants" may seem to be following the same route.

It’s just a normal Quicktime file Jack.

I know it is, but there is something wrong with the quicktime plugin for internet explorer. i have been experiencing major problems lately every since i had to do a system restore.

is there anyway that you can save it and email it, so i can open in in the quicktime player on my pc?

If you right click on that link, you can save the file to your hard drive.
