When retouching, how can I get a sharp edge when using the Brush Tool? This is what I end up with when using Photoshop 8:
http://www.htmlduo.org.uk/martin/temp/palmP.jpg
(tool setting Normal, opacity 100%, flow 100%)

This is the effect I want to achieve (made with an old copy of PSP 6) http://www.htmlduo.org.uk/martin/temp/palmA.jpg

Advice please.

TIA.

Les

With the Brush selected , click your Right mouse button and move up the Hardness slider till you get what you want.
