Hi people 🙂

I know that CS2 has some glitches with Vista and I am saving to get the upgrade to CS3. In the meantime I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this glitch.

The pressure sensitivity is gone. I have a Wacom studio graphire and have checked for driver updates to no avail, and a search didn’t bring anything up on here.

But as my mother says I am rubbish at finding things so if anyone has any tips I would be more than grateful 🙂

Oddly enough, I am having the same issues.

My family’s computer has PhotoshopCS2 on it, and it doesn’t respond to any pressure change on either tablet (my little sister has one and I bought my own), and MY computer’s CS3 suite doesn’t either!

I’m getting really frustrated: the number one boon to spending roughly 200 on a tablet is the pressure sensitivity and I can’t get it to work.

Have you tried resetting the brush tool?

If that doesn’t help, you could see if resetting the whole Photoshop preferences helps.

I have tried that yeah, but no, nothing.

I downloaded the trial of CS3 and my pressure sensitivity works in CS3 so I guess it’s just a glitch with CS2 that won’t be ironed out 🙁

Samantha, there is an updated driver for the wacom for Vista on the wacom website. It works with CS3 but not with CS2 (as far as I’ve tried) so definitely give it a shot 🙂
