Printing problem

I just installed cs3 on my new laptop with vista. I also have a hp8750 photo printer. When I crop a picture to 4×6 and put in 4×6 paper with a tab I keep getting white borders around the picture or it pushed to one side and part of the picture cropped out. It looks fine in the preview screen. I do have things set to print border less as far as I can tell, which is what I want. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
