I read another recent thread that was similar, but I want make sure I interpreted it correctly; something about ACR not processing Nikon NEFs…
Just bought a Nikon D80 and am working with my first batch of images. They all appear properly in Bridge. When I double click on the image, it opens in Camera Raw 3.6 as I expected it to. I make some alterations to the slider bar settings and then hit "Open".
To my chagrin, it appears that none of the new settings stuck when the file opened in CS2.
Why is that happening? Will ACR process these NEFs or do I need Capture NX? Are there settings in the camera I need to modify? Is CS2 the culprit in any way? Am I missing anything else?
Thanks for any help in this matter…
