Did you clear and rebuild the Bridge cache (as in the FAQs in the Camera Raw and Bridge forums) after installing 3.4 and rebooting?
Art
No, I didn’t do that. I’ll see if I can find the FAQs Many thanks for your help. I think I’ll go back to shooting film.
Alistair
You can clear the cache from the main menu bar I think… It’s a pretty common "tool."
Art
Ok. I followed the instructions in the support knowledgebase
Generic Camera Thumbnails still appear after you install Camera Raw 3.4 update (Adobe Bridge 1.0)
I have Adobe Bridge 1.0.4.6 installed
I performed tools>cache>Purge Central Cache in Bridge
The thumbnail problem was resolved, but now the files won’t open. I get an error box "An error occurred when trying to open… file directory
I had also uninstalled Photoshop CS to save disk space.
What’s next?
thanks
Alistair
I’m not sure.
Have you reviewed the messages in the Bridge Forum? May get more responses than posting here in the Photoshop area…
Art
I’ll try there. Thanks for your help.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful, but I don’t use Bridge except for a couple of unique features. ;- )

Na. It’s not half as much "fun".
As Art said: Try the Bridge forum. They are well up on the NEF file issues there.
