Colour changes between CS2 and Elements 4

Sir,
I use both CS2 version 9 and elements 4. I find that when printing the finished colours produced by my printer Epson R300 are very different. CS2 colours are much much darker than elements. The reproduction in Elements is much closer to satisfactory then in CS 2.
Can you help please in advising me how to adjust my settings so that the programs are much closer to each other than i am currently achieving.
