recently all my prints of photos have a red cast to them. it never happened before. ia am not aware of any changes in settings. if i cut down on the magenta on the printer it just tends to wash out the color and there is still a red cast. i am using a canon s800 and win98. any suggestions on a fix.

Richard,
Couple of possibilities. If all these images come from a digital camera you may need to use the ignore exif fix. Otherwise it is probably a question of monitor callibration.

Try here:

If you can’t get it, go to Support>Photoshop Elements and type "Ignore EXIF" in the Search bar.

But if callibration fixed your problem, you probably don’t need the ignore exif fix.

Have you tried a new ink cartridge and/or cleaned the area where the nozzle resides? Is this problem manifest when printing from other programs as well? Have you looked at a page in auto test from your printer, i.e. bypassing the computer completely?
