For some reason JPEG’s have stopped opening up automatically in Photoshop 7 when ‘double clicked’ from emails or folders on my computer.

All that happens is that Photoshop loads but the file itself does not open.

They still open up as normal when I navigate to the file through the ‘File/Open’ option in Photoshop.

I have tried right clicking JPEG files and choosing the ‘Open with’ then ‘Always use this program to open these files’ option but this still doesn’t fix the problem.

Does anyone else have this issue or does anyone know of a solution?

Which version of Windows do you have?

What does happen when you double-click on a JPEG?

Does "Open with" and then specify PS work OK?
