When saving jpeg files, the comments box is being filled with file information. (i.e., 8-bit RGB flat Mac byte order uncompressed TIFF file, 246×2988 pixels (8.21×9.96 inches) @300.00 pixels/inch, written by Adobe Photoshop 7.0) This is visable when you do a command I on a Photoshop icon. It causes a problem copying to one of my clients server and they have to delete this info. I am in Photoshop 7.0, on OS9. If anyone has any clue as to why this is happening, please forward it to me.

Thanks,
Kym

Kym,

At some point in your workflow you’re including the metadata. I vaguely remember a script to strip the metadata from files. Someone else who knows will jump in in due time. No need to duplicate posts.

The original poster mentioned TIFF files, though.
