Photoshop CS:

The lines of type in my File Info dialog box such as "Description" "Document Title" and the restof the box labels all have the bottom part of the line of type chopped off. This applies to every line of type in the gray area of the dialog box.

Running 1024 x 768 res on the monitors (dual setup) with Matrox 450 card. Windows 2000 SP4. AMD 1200 mhz 1.5 gb ram.

Any thoughts on the cause?

I assume this is due to the text size being set to 120dpi through the video card options. Lowering the text size will most likely fix this.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for the pointer, I reduced the text size to 96 dpi and now the dialog box type looks fine.

Adam, perhaps in a future release this dialog box could be fixed to accomodate larger font settings….since at high screen res, type faces get really small, and many of us are wearing glasses these days. It seems to be the only place in CS that the problem exists that I have noticed, and as it is an entirely new dialog box perhaps it could be tweaked a bit.

Yes, we understand that being able to run the entire interface with a larger font on higher resolution monitors is becoming an issue. Hey, at least this time the interface is all anti-aliased when you ask it to be :-).
