Loss of EXIF info in PS6 for TIF files

Hello,

When I modify TIF files in PS6 I lose the EXIF info. With JPEG it works fine.

The files were originally RAW files and converted into TIF (24bit) either with the relevant Pentax program or in IMATCH. After conversion, the EXIF info is there. But whenever I modify and save the files in PS6 they lose the EXIF info.

Does PS6 not support EXIF in TIF files?

Isn’t the cause that the Tif format does not support EXIF, but Jpeg does? Jim

PS 6 did not preserve EXIF data in all file formats (and sometimes preserved data when it shouldn’t have).
