Sorry I didn’t get back to you. It’s been a crazy week. No it did not make a difference. I found, however, that the layers I was trying to apply with a lot of texture and noise, on top of other hidden layers in the file I think just caused my system memory to choke. I made some changes and didn’t have that problem again. I think I need to do some research on the best settings for scratch discs and memory usage etc. Thanks for checking in with me!
