All of a sudden, when I have an image and set the way I like in photoshop then do a Save to Web of it for web placement, the example image in the Savew to Web screen is washed out. It looks nothing near as good as I have it in the original photoshop workspace. Previously, there would be little change in the image when pulled up in the Save to Web screen. I cannot seem to get all the vibrancy in the PS image to translate out to JPG and Gif anymore.

Thoughts?

Check your document’s color settings – make sure it is an rgb document and that your colorspace is sRGB.
