CRT or LCD for photoshop color accuracy?

About to buy a new desktop for home photoshop use. Have heard CRT has better color accuracy from someone at Apple. Would appreciate feedback on merits of CRT vs LCD monitor (either the one that comes with iMAC or the studio display model).

This is so much a matter of personal taste that the only sensible thing is to look at various monitors "in the flesh".
