Well, after receiving my copy of PS CS2 yesterday, I’ve had a chance to play with it for about an hour or two today. Being a photographer, I was especially interested in the 32-bit HDR function. I had recently taken a particularly difficult subject for a digital camera to handle (sunrise with clouds but a fairly bright sun). After fooling with the HDR, new Exposure control, a little Gaussian Blur, the Spot Healing Brush and the Smart Sharpen (and all this didn’t take very long!), I came up with an image that I am extremely pleased with. Now, I still need to do a little refining because I was only experimenting and not being as meticulous as I normally am, but I have to tell you, I am absolutely thrilled with some of these new features, including the Bridge! Guys, Nikon can say what they want (and I’m a long-time Nikon user and now have the D2X and a D2H), PS CS2 is a must for the serious amateur and pro photographer. Nice work!! I look forward to spending more time with this program.
