I read in another thread that folks were a bit disallusioned about the red-eye tool. I thought it was ok, but today, I found a different use for it.
I came across an image that had green stains across the girl’s face. I tried every thing I knew to remeove that stain, and then I decided to give the red-eye tool a chance. You can change the replacement color so I set it to the face color that I wanted and bounced the tool around on the green. It worked pretty slick after a bit of practice.
Hope this helps, Margaret
