Any body out there have any thoughts on these displays for graphic use as well as general use? Would these be a good choice for use with CS, doing photographic work flows, as a single display and or with a second smaller (current) display. I am pretty new to the digital world, I am doing digital output with traditional capture. I am using medium and large format traditional capture, scanned on a Epson 4990 to CS viewed on an old compaq FP1317 FPD for optimization and output on a Epson Stylus Pro 4000.
Specifically the 2405FPW and the 2005FPW units, seems there are many of these units on ebay. Costs are in the $900-$1000 range for the 24" unit and around $500 for the 20", new with warranty. Is there some reason that there seems to be a ton of the Dell units on ebay? Can these things be profiled adequately?
