I have been using Photoshop Elements till now and for me that is all I needed, besides two points:
– The display quality of the pictures is not satifying. Elements seems to use a very simple algorithm to downsize the pictures for screen display, maybe too simple. Not that the pictures are meant to be admired while I work on them, but somtimes I wanted to see something closely resembling the end result. Choosing the right factor helps a bit. But I have seen better displays in other software.
– There is no full screen view. I mean a view with nothing but the picture, automatically adjusted to screen size with a good sampling quality. Something like in FixFoto, Photoshop Album or even Irfanview.
Will upgrading to Photoshop CS get rid of these problems? I mean it is a lot of money after all.
Thanks for your attention.
