I am using an HP Scanjet to import photos and images into Photoshop 6. After the image has scanned and I "return to Photoshop", the images have a magenta color hue to them. Adjusting curves and color balance does not always render a corrected image. Does anyone have some suggestions?

Thanks,

Colour management issue. Try running Adobe Gamma.

Or the scanner is returning REALLY bad color.

If all other images are ok in Photoshop, then it is probably just the scanner.
