when I try to save an image with the color #FDF8EB in it, it changes the color to #FDF8EC. Every time, no matter the jpg compression.
try it yourself.
What can I do about it? I have an incredibly anal client that wants it nailed down, and I can’t see how to ‘correct’ it. There’s not exactly a big difference in the colors…
btw, if I open the jpg with the color thats been converted (so it is fdf8ec) correct the color, then save again (open jpg -> set color to fdf8eb -> save as jpg) then the color ‘sticks’.
any help would be appreciated.
ps7, windows xp
