Restoring a Color Palette Post Save

Hello,
I’ve got an image that, after I colored it in PS 7.0.1, it saved as a B&W image. Is there any way to restore my color palette for the image post save? It seems that it may have saved as a greyscale … though I’m not sure how that happened.

WinXP
Dell Dimension 1.5g, 512M RAM

If you have over-writen your original file and closed it, then I’m afraid that is it. There’s no way back.
