If it’s plain paper, use the ‘plain paper’ setting. And, yes, plain paper labels should work just fine in a laser printer.
If it’s coated stock, try ‘photo quality ink jet paper.’ Coated stock may or may not be suitable for laser printer use. Check the packaging for warnings along those lines.
