How to set default printer in PS CS

I’d have thought this was already discussed but I couldn’t find it in this forum or the knowledgebase…

My photo printer is not my XP default printer. Why won’t PS CS remember the printer I set for the application between times I run the program? It even sometimes reverts to the default printer during the time I run PS CS.

Surely this problem has a solution (if I’m not unique).

I’ve been asking the same question since Version 6. Adobe just doesn’t want to change it. I wish they would, it’s a PIA to always change the printer. Jim

PS uses Windows default printer as its default printer. End of story.

Ouch. For a $700 program you’d think it could be customized…
