Lately my scanning quality has been really nasty.
Operating in Win 2000, Importing image in PScs through HP PrecisionScan Pro 3.0.2…

Scans are coming in "splochy, spotty, pixley,

Glass is clean, actually the images are coming in looking like when you wash a window, to TV, even a monitor and you have that damp streaking action going on……

Any ideas??

I am no expert, but this would seem like a scanner hardware malfunction. While it is a major hassle, trying your scanner on a different computer may be the answer to narrow down the possibilities.
