HP SCSI Scanner Slow down

Is anyone else having this problem? After I installed PS CS, the response from my HP SCSI scanner slowed down to a crawl, not just in CS but in any TWAIN application. I deinstalled the scanner as a SCSI device and reinstalled it using its USB interface and now it works fine in all TWAIN apps except CS, where it has slowed to a crawl.

Is there a fix?

You’ll have to ask HP about that.

It can only be their driver that is slowing things down.
