Im using PS ver 7.0. How can i enable AUTOSAVE so as to save files every 5 minutes?

when i work on PSD format PS becomes real slow? any patches to rectify this?

there is no auotsave, just hit Ctrl-s every now and then. psd files will be larger, because they hold more info.
