Hello, I find in some photos that everything else is good but sometimes the facial skin comes out unattractively blotchy with red or brownish patches that spoil the whole photo. I’ve tried various fiddles to deal with this but haven’t had really good results with any so far. What do others here do to work on this problem. thanks very much any feedback.

1) If you are using the Adobe RGB profile, assign the sRGB profile to your image and see if the colors look more natural.
2) Use Photoshop’s selective color command to remove magenta from red. —

Thank you, I should have mentioned I use Photoshop Elements, no patch tool, but thanks anyway.
