Is there a way to silver tone black and white photos in photoshop 7?

1.Starting Point
Open up the picture you want apply the effect to.

2. Invert
From the Menu bar, select Image > Adjust > Invert. This will give your image a negative look.

3. Solarize
From the Menu bar choose
Filter >Stylize >Solarize.

4. Convert
Now we need to alter the color mode.
From the Menu bar, select Image > Mode > Grayscale. From the Menu bar choose Image > Mode > RGB.

5. Equalize
From the Menu bar choose Image > Adjust > Equalize.

6. Levels
Now bring up the Levels options by using Ctrl/L on your keyboard. Set the center Input level to 0.50.

A very simple effect to create that achieves stunning result

wouldn’t this be a good time to use an hue/saturation adjustment layer? Possibly along with a filled layer set to the color blending mode?
