Photoshop 7 is being a tad weird. It works fine then sometimes it doe a
couple of odd things. The Ctrl Z for ‘undo’ and Ctrl A for ‘select all no longer do as they should, they go to close the doc, asking if I wan to save first. It’s very annoying, I have to shut down Photoshop an reopen it to rectify it. When I open Photoshop they work fine, i seems to change in mid use sometimes, though.
The other thing it does now and then is, when using Save As, th keyboard ceases to be a qwerty one, as we use in UK, and becomes a azerty one, like the mainland Europeans use. A nightmare as I don’ know the azerty layout. Again, closing and re-opening sorts it for while. This only happens in Photoshop, no other applications at all an the keyboard is always qwerty when I type within P’shop, it’s only whe using Save As that it changes and then only sometimes.
I can’t think of anything I am doing to cause it to make these change in mid use. It starts out fine with undo and Save As behaving a normally then, inexplicably, changes the behaviour.
I tried reinstalling the application but to no avail. My PC, runnin Windows XP, is virus free, so I’ve run out of ideas. It’s mos bizarre.
Anyone come across this or have any ideas
