Photoshop CS and Canon Digital Rebel (300D)-Need Help Pls.

I have the Canon Digital Rebel and Photoshop CS. I am trying to open RAW images in the file browser and it says there are no items. I see them in Windows Explorer and they will open from there, but I cannot see then in the File Browser – it says I have zero items. Does someone know what I need to do to get this to work?

Are you first downloading the images to your hard drive? I do this and have no problems.
