I would like to make the process of obtaining the scanner an Action, but it doesn’t seem to work. I start a new Action, set up the parameters and label, then go to File>Import>Epson 3200. The scanner starts, but that series of steps does not record. Is this an invalid Action process?

Use Insert Menu Item from the actions palette flyout menu and THEN do File|Import|Epson 3200.
