Save As batch command

hello,

I am trying to use the batch command or automate to save a group of tiff files to jpg format. I cannot get this process to occur. any ideas of where to go for a detailed view of how to perform this task. or can it be done. thank you.

Yes, it can be done. With one file open +make an action saving as jpeg and run it through Automate?Batch. Choose a destination folder and check (Override Save In…)

You don’t mention your version of Photoshop so there might be slight variances.

There are also other programs that will do this, maybe better for your purposes. I believe Irfanview will do it for instance.
