Has anyone determined what the largest print size adobe photo 6 will allow. Using printer properties under set and edit paper size is there a maximum adobe will recognize. I am printing using an HP 5000 picture size 60" x 108". Using a rip program I have no problem printing, if I use adobe for color control I get program error when spooling. Any thoughts? Thx kindly

Print your file to PDF first and you can fill the whole roll with one image.

Yes we have the same problem on our hp5000PS and thats when pinting onto 36" and 40" wide rolls. Have got around so far by going through PDF but would be nice to be able to print directly from PShop.

Thought it was just our set up, any one else had this or better yet resloved it?

I print the file from Photoshop to a postscript file, using distiller.psd printer description, then run that through distiller to get my PDF.

You can also place your image in InDesign and print nice PDFs from there.

I have never printed PDF’s directly from Photoshop but you may want to try that first. It seems like most new Adobe products are including the built-in facility, under the File menu, to produce flawless PDFs from within the application.
