I am using PS CS4 on XP Pro SP3 (both fully patched).

I can open an image, click on Quick Mask and highlight the area that I want to change and hit "Q" to make my selection.

But, then, if I try changing the selected area (using Vibrance or Hue Saturation or anything) the ENTIRE IMAGE changes!

I don’t know what I am doing wrong here. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I found it… Double click the quick mask icon and select "Color indicates: Selected Area".

That seemed to fix it for me…..
