I was in the middle of croping a document and I realized I had inches instead of pixels. It looks like it was writing a file 600 in by 600 in 300 dpi. I had to hard boot my pc. After that I lost 20 gigs from my hard drive. What type of file photoshop writes? I cannot find it. I need to delete it.

Thanks for your help,
Flor

According to Adobe if something happens and scratch files are left behind the next time you load Photoshop they should be deleted.

It didn’t, it was a 20 gig file. It took me a while but I found it. It was at C:\Documents and Settings\""user name""\Local Settings\Temp

The file started with Photoshop…..

My scratchfiles are at the c root.
