How can I tell if the GPU Accelerated features are working

I have a Nvidia Geforce 7800 gt/PCI/SSE2 card. I downloaded the latest drivers (178 released October this year).

But how can I tell if PS CS4 is utilizing it, and if it is not, what do I have to do.

In Edit/Preferences/Performance, the Enable OpenGLdrawing is checked. However, it just seems as if it is not really working.

Would appreciate some advise on this.

Does the "Rotate canvas" tool work? If not, then hardware acceleration surely is not available. Beyond that, as a user of a previous version you should sure notice minor differences in zooming, clone stamp cursors and a few other minor things.

Well I must have it and it must be working as the rotate canvas tool worked. I just was wondering because it seems as if my screen redraws in some intances is clunky (and not smooth as in the lynda.com Deke new CS4 features movie).
