I currently have the photoshop elements 6/premiere elements 4 bundle and am thinking about upgrading to CS3. Issue is that I quite like integrated organiser/editor in PE6 and that Premiere elements is able to view and pull out photos from the PE6 organiser.

Am I right in thinking that if I upgrade to CS3, it will not be integrated into the organiser any longer?

Does that mean I would have to get lightroom as well? And presumably that still won’t talk to Premiere elements?

Sorry for the newb question.

With PS CS3 you get Bridge which is the equivalent of Organiser. I believe it is possible to utilise the PS Elements database in Bridge. You can find out more in the Bridge forum here:

You should try to find out what you can do in CS3 that you need to do that you cannot do in Elements.
I would also wait for CS4.
Hopefully the bizarre schism between the raw converter and the Photoshop desktop will be obliterated.
