I just tried to use the Automate>Picture Package (PSCS3)and found that the sizes chosen are not the same size as the finished file. For example, when I chose the preset package with 2-5×7 on an 8×10 paper, the finished prints are only 5 x 6.25 inches. The image zones tell me 5×7 but the finished flattened image is not correct. I have found any picture package with 5×7 or 2.5×3.5 give me an incorrect size. The 4×5 images are right on the button.
Trying to adjust this seems to be trial and error.

Can anybody help me?

Thank you,
Monte Evans

I just talked to a friend and I found out that the picture package WILL make correct 5×7 and 2.5×3.5 packages if I start with a 5×7 cropped image (same proportions).

It will also work properly if I ask it to create 4×5 or 8×10 photographs from an 8×10 cropped image (again same proportions).

If I ask picture package to "center crop" an 8×10 to create 5×7’s or wallets, it makes images the wrong size.

If I ask picture package to "center crop" 5×7 proportion type crop to create 4×5’s, it makes images the wrong size.

I guess I was expecting Picture Package to produce at least the correct size image. If I didn’t like the cropping, at least that would have been very noticable. I surely didn’t expect to have to measure the image to see if the size was wrong.

Does anybody know of a fix for this?

Thanks,
Monte Evans
