Printing using the picture package

I am using Photoshop Elements 2.0. When I print using the picture package and have say four 5X7’s on the page, the pictrues are not sharp. I can print the same picture, the same size, just usning the print option with only that picture on the page and it comes out very sharp and clear. What am I doing wrong?

for some dingy reason, the picture packages have the default resoluion set at 72…obviously this is not a resolution meant for print. between 150-300 is where it should be.
