PS-CS Unable to Fill Zones Using Automate>Picture Package

When using the automate>Picture Package function its seems as though the routine will not crop any part of any pictures. The result is that in wanting to produce 2-5x7s on the same page the Picture Package command will only produce 2-4.XXx7 layouts – in other words it fits the largest dimension not the shortest dimension and refuse to crop any execss – likewise same with other sizes. I want it constrain the proportions but fill the zone so I can trim the photos and put them into ready made standard size frames with the photo filling the zone. Am I missing something or expecting too much from this function.

You’re right – Picture Package doesn’t crop, it scales images to fit without cropping.
