photoshop colours

hey i need some help with colours in photoshop, first i was trying to use the eyedropper tool to get the blue before i realised there was a blue in swatches, but when i go to swatches now, the blue is not blue, it’s the colour i chose from eyedropper (purperly)

here’s what it looks like –

just want the normal blue, any ideas how i can fix this? tried reinstalling, etc

Reset Swatches from the flyout arrow on the Swatches palette.

As you can see from this screen grab, your swatch and mine both exhibit the (on my machine) correct colours.

This wuld suggest your monitor profile is toast. Recallibrate your monitor and your blue will appear blue again
..
