Okay, so i am trying to load CS3 on my work computer.
My computer is a Compaq D51C running Windows XP that meets all the requirements for photoshop.
The software is brand new, i opened the box this week.
My drive reads the disc and starts the autorun installation. When i click "install photoshop cs3" it goes through the first initializing step (the one with the two folders and all that jazz)
When the bar loads and i assume the file is done initializing, instead of going on to the main setup to continue the installation, it just stops. There’s no warning message, nothing happens at all. It is even removed from the task manager as an action.
I’ve tried over and over. I even replaced my cd/dvd drive.
The worst thing is, the software installs just fine on other computers in my office because i tried that too. I don’t know what to do. I wish i had a mac at work.
Anyone have any suggestions?
