How to uninstall PS CS3

I did drag PSE beta to the trash (months ago). I just purchased PSE, and now cannot install. Called support, they directed me to the CS3Clean Script.
Now, what needs to be backed up before running the script? (What will be lost?) Thanks!

I am not sure whether the CS3Clean Script will work with Elements at all because it was designed for the full CS3 version of Photoshop.

As for what would be lost? Probably only personal components that might have been in the original folder which you have already trashed. But back-up your System anyway before running the Script.

You might find better help in the Photoshop Elements Forum because very few (f any?) of us here have any experience with Elements.
