Problem with photoshop start up

Hello, I hope someone can help. Every time I start up Photoshop I get this error message ‘One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop’ I have tried this but still I get this message. I don’t know what’s missing from Application Support, in the support folder there are ‘Presets’ ‘TypeSpt’ and ‘Web’ along with ‘Adobe Registration Database’. My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place, these forums are very confusing. Thanks for the help!
