Anyone know if version 3.2 of Photoshop is upgradable? Yes it is "way old" but I just retired a very old Macintosh that had 3.2 on it and now need to move it to a G4 Mac.

Yes I tried asking this to Adobe Customer Service and got the "we don’t know call this 800 number" responce. You’d think maybe they could have researched a bit then sent back a usful reply. I think they are paid by the number of closed cases? Oh well end of rant. Anyone know

This is in the FAQs you can upgrade from version 1 if its registered.

but you need to talk to customer service because serial numbers have evolved since version 3

Reading that made me curious. I still have PS 3.05 on my dual-boot G4 running OS 9.2 and 10.3.9. I knew it would work when booted into 9.2, but I just discovered that it opens in Classic while booted into 10.3.9! Upgrading is probably going to be expensive, but you won’t regret it.
